Every year, in November, the World Championship of Sand Sculpting comes  to beautiful Fort Myers Beach, FL (Estero Island).  The event takes place at the Southern end of the island, just before the Santini Marina Plaza.

 More than 30 Master Sand Sculptors and sand sculptures, and almost 1000 tons of sand will be piled and sculpted!

15 countries competing for the World Championship Title

Amateur Competition

“Quick Sand” - Speed Sculpting competitions. This is an audience-participation event in which Master Sculptors go head-to-head for a ten-minute competition and advance to further championship rounds based on audience applause.
